Advanced Care

Our experienced veterinary team provides comprehensive medical care, ranging from routine to advanced procedures and treatments.

Although we handle the majority of your pet’s medical and surgical needs in-house, we occasionally refer patients to veterinary specialists or specialty clinics when advanced training or equipment will be beneficial. Below you will find a list of treatments that we currently offer in-house.

Pocket Pets

Pocket pets refer to smaller household pets such as guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats, gerbils, and hedgehogs. Each pet is different and requires different care. We will guide you in your pet’s care, provide helpful tips for keeping your pet safe and offer treatments (such as vaccination, parasite screening, and spay/neuter) to keep your pet healthy.

Pain Management

Our veterinarians are committed to pinpointing the source of your pet's discomfort and helping you understand how to identify signs of pain as animals instinctively hide pain from humans. Pain management is one of our primary considerations when treating a pet for any medical condition.

OFA Certification

Hip and elbow dysplasia is a common condition that affects dogs and can cause debilitating and painful conditions for your pet. OFA Hip & Elbow evaluation/certification helps pet owners and breeders to evaluate the hip joint before breeding. We strongly recommend OFA Hip & Elbow certification before breeding a female, before the purchase of a puppy, and/or to evaluate your pet's hip condition.

Pet Hospice & Euthanasia

Choosing hospice care or euthanasia for your pet is deeply personal, yet you're not alone in making that tough decision. If your pet is sick, aging, or terminally ill and you're concerned about their suffering, please reach out to us to learn more about our hospice care services and humane euthanasia. We're here to support and guide you through this process with care.

Laser Therapy

Laser therapy, a gentle and non-invasive option, often complements physical therapy or rehabilitation for pets. It's a pain-free way to reduce inflammation, alleviate pain, and enhance healing. This treatment is good for post-surgical patients, and pets with chronic arthritis, skin conditions, muscle strains and sprains, joint or disc disease, wounds, bites and burns.

Animal Reproduction

Animal reproduction and breeding is intricate. Education is a vital component of any quality breeding program, ensuring that you are fully aware of the complications that may arise to guarantee the safety and health of your dog or cat, and their offspring. Our services include breeding management, ovulation timing, artificial insemination, pregnancy diagnosis, and cesarean deliveries.

Blood Transfusions

Blood transfusions (including transfusion of blood products, like plasma) is a critically important service that can mean the difference between life and death for your pet. All blood is carefully screened and administered by our experienced veterinary professionals.

Rabbit Care

Rabbits require special care and are susceptible to a variety of diseases and conditions, including overgrown teeth, hairballs, parasites, and cancer. Because they tend to hide signs of illness or pain, we suggest bringing your furry friend in for regular dental check-ups and having them spayed or neutered. Count on our team to provide comprehensive care for your rabbit.
